Lots to do

I'm sitting here with Jasmine at my side trying to think of something to post when I look at the calendar.

19 days until we are on our way to Utah! That's less than three weeks, and I start to think of all the things we need to do!

Tomorrow, I need to pay our last month's storage rent, and since I'll be there anyway, I should probably dig out our luggage for the trips.

I should probably stop by Borders on Thursday and pick up a few more boxes for all the little stuff around our room. Also, I need a place to put the stuff that is currently in the luggage. By the way, if you ever move, Borders has the best boxes for moving. They are big enough to pack just about anything, but small enough that it's kind of impossible to make them too heavy. Plus, they are all the same size and stack nicely. Steve also has an eye appointment on Thursday, and is getting new glasses since we are going to lose our insurance.

Friday is my birthday! Another post after the party with pics to come later! I also meet with my dermatologist that day, where I can hopefully convince her to give me three more weeks worth of medicine because my psoriasis is still there. It is going away with the meds, but it's still there. It's slow.

Of course, we've got to get everything we have out packed up again and ready to move. I have to call all the different branches of my store in Utah on Monday to see if they have a position for me to transfer into. Please pray that they do. Pray that God has a plan and that everything will work out.

I've got to get a Uhaul reserved to drive down on the first of October. Apply for jobs if I can't transfer.

I hate moving. I really do, but South Dakota was a huge mistake. We both agree. I love every single one of the friends I've made here, and I'm going to miss all of them so much, they kept me sane. They have made me better. They have just helped me so so much, and I'm so lucky to have met them. I hope we don't lose contact! I'm also glad I was able to get to know Steve's family. It has helped me learn a lot about him, but it's also been nice getting to know them.

I have been slightly reconsidering Ohio because I miss my family, but I did rule it out already. I ruled it out for good reasons, and I really do think Utah will be a good place to actually settle down.

I'm kind of stressed. Kind of worried. Not looking forward to driving down there twice. I'm not very patient. I hate having to wait to do all these things one thing at a time. I would rather just get it all over and done with at once.

Please pray that everything goes smoothly for us, and that we are able to trust in God and His plan for us. Thanks!
